A fun and educational puzzle designed to help children learn Japan’s geography step by step.

Two Levels of Play

• Basic Pieces (coloured by region): Each prefecture is colour-coded by region, making it easier for beginners to assemble the map using both colour and shape hints.

• Advanced Pieces (single-colour): Once children get used to the puzzle, they can challenge themselves with one-colour pieces that remove the colour hints, relying only on shape recognition.

Child-Friendly Design

• Puzzle pieces are made with just the right thickness, making them easy for small hands to handle.

• The puzzle board includes faint prefecture borders to provide extra hints for fitting the pieces correctly.

Extra Learning Materials Included

• Maps: Prefecture name reference map, blank map, and topographic map.

• Hiragana stickers: For children who can’t yet read kanji, hiragana stickers can be placed over the kanji on the pieces.

• Cover-up stickers: For extra challenge, children can cover the prefecture names and guess using only shape.

• Activity ideas: Use the blank map for colouring, writing prefecture names, or creating quizzes.
