Dare no Gohan Storybook by Shimizu Daisuke

The latest addition to the popular Peekaboo Through the Holes picture book series, this interactive book is specially designed for babies and toddlers aged 0–2 years.

Featuring colourful patterns, playful illustrations and cleverly designed cut-out holes, little ones can enjoy guessing which animal is about to appear!

For example, when presented with a page of bright yellow cheese and the question, "Whose food is this?", turning the page transforms a mysteriously shaped hole into a little mouse's mouth, ready to gobble up the cheese!

With playful phrases such as "Time to eat!" and "Munch, munch, munch! Yum, delicious!", children are encouraged to use clues from food illustrations and animal sounds to guess which animal is enjoying its meal.

As different animals appear and happily enjoy their food, the book's repetitive storytelling helps nurture babies' curiosity and interest in eating.

Parents can encourage interaction by asking questions such as "Doesn't that apple look delicious?" or "I wonder whose food this is?", inspiring imagination and meaningful parent-child engagement.

Perfect for developing early vocabulary, this delightful interactive picture book also helps young children learn the names of animals and foods through playful discovery.
