We carefully wrap them in cushioning material for delivery.
[Important Notice]
Shiraki geta are very prone to scratches, so they can easily get damaged if they come into contact with hard objects. Please be careful when taking them out of the box or displaying them in your store.
How to Wear Two-Toothed Geta
Many people wear geta by placing their toes snugly into the gap between the front strap (mae-osa) and the base, but this can cause pain in the gap between the toes. Instead, it’s better to place your foot so that it’s about 1 cm behind the front strap.
There is personal preference when it comes to wearing geta slightly bigger or smaller, but the correct size for traditional Japanese footwear is when the heel hangs off the platform by about 2-3 cm. Since the teeth (ha) of the geta are positioned slightly behind the center, it’s easier to walk when the heel is slightly off the edge.
